Located in the heart of Castro Valley, Hairology Salon is conveniently located along Castro Valley Boulevard near some of the area’s most popular shopping, dining, and neighborhood destinations. Our salon is just minutes from the Castro Valley Marketplace, a local favorite featuring artisan food vendors, coffee shops, and boutique dining experiences, as well as the vibrant Downtown Castro Valley district filled with restaurants, retail, and everyday conveniences.
We’re also less than a 5-minute drive from the Castro Valley BART Station, offering easy access for clients traveling from Oakland, Hayward, Dublin, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek and throughout the Bay Area. Convenient freeway access to Interstate 580 and proximity to nearby neighborhoods like Five Canyons, Palomares Hills, and Lake Chabot make Hairology Salon an easy and central destination for luxury hair color, balayage, blonding, and modern hair services in Castro Valley.

While we always strive to accommodate every guest with the highest level of care and service, Hairology Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying rude, hostile, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff or guests.

Appointment Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable and that appointments may need to be rescheduled or canceled. To ensure that we can accommodate all of our clients and respect the time of our stylists, we have implemented the following late cancellation policy:
48 Hours Notice Period: In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options for our guests, we require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
No-Shows & Late Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be applied.
Multiple Late Cancellations: Repeated late cancellations or no-shows will require payment of a 100% non-refundable fee for future bookings.

Service Adjustments
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within 10 days of your original appointment. We will gladly schedule a complimentary adjustment appointment with your original stylist to address any reasonable concerns.
Adjustment appointments are scheduled similarly to standard appointments and are provided at no additional charge.

Color Correction Consultations
Color correction appointments are highly customized and may involve multiple processes, extended appointment times, and multiple sessions depending on your hair history and desired results. During your consultation, your stylist will evaluate:
– Current hair condition and integrity
– Previous color history (including box color or corrective work)
– Desired inspiration and goals
– Realistic expectations and maintenance
– Estimated timing, pricing, and treatment plan
To achieve the healthiest and most beautiful results possible, complete honesty regarding your hair history is essential, including any at-home color, chemical treatments, extensions, keratin treatments, medications, henna, or swimming exposure.
Our priority is always maintaining the integrity and health of your hair while creating a personalized transformation plan tailored specifically to you.
Retail Return Policy
At Hairology Salon, we stand behind the professional products we recommend and want you to love your purchase.
If you are not completely satisfied with a retail product, unopened or gently used products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
